RCAL Products
Many of our products, originally designed for a specific client need, are available for general sale. These products include:
LCD Touch Screen Display
RCAL’s BW320x240 Remote LCD Touch Screen is a remote operator interface that communicates with a host computer using an RS232 connection. The RCAL touch screen system features a 320x240 pixel graphic LCD display measuring 4.5” x 3.4”, an analog resistive touch screen and a Digital Signal Processor for a powerful user interface that is easily integrated with any system. The BW320x240 has built-in graphics and touch screen processing commands which free up the host system from time-consuming graphics and key scanning routines.
Universal Input Flat Panel Monitor Card
This card takes RGB video signals in DOS, VGA, SVGA, XGA, and many other video modes and scales them to drive your QVGA to SXGA flat panel. This product is intended for OEMs only and sometimes requires custom firmware to configure the card for the flat panel to be used. Custom video modes are available for a one time set-up charge. Scale(Shrink), Gain, Vertical, Horizontal and Clock adjustments are provided through an On Screen Display. Board dimensions are 3.3"x 4.75". The board requires 12 volts DC and provides 12 volts DC for an external backlight driver.
LVDS Receiver
The LVDS receiver drives 3.3 volt or 5 volt SVGA color TFT flat panel displays. Voltage should be specified when ordering. Board dimensions are 2.775" x 4.75". A 12 volt output is supplied for backlight driver power. The LVDS Transmitter card can be used to derive the LVDS signals from your PC. A 12 volt DC power supply is required.
Industrial Single Board Computer
The RCAL Industrial Single Board Computer is a very low cost board designed for embedded applications. It does not require a fan and can operate from a single 12 VDC power supply. Examples of the built-in software features include:
- 133 MHz, 486 Class, X86 Processor
- 64MB SDRAM
- Integrated Video
- VGA Monitor Output / LCD Output
- 512 KB NVRAM with Real-Time Clock
